Last week Buds General Manager Alison Pugh and Chairperson Vic Silvester met with The West Brom to receive their kind donation of £500.
A team of managers and young professionals from the West Brom have been undertaking voluntary work for BUDS as part of an 18 month leadership development programme.
Their objective was to look at operational support, for example reviewing job profiles and payment processes for service users. They have also provided business coaching for senior management at the charity.
The partnership was cemented by the £500 donation from the West Brom as a way of thanking BUDS for their assistance during the project, which has given the Society’s team many opportunities to put their leadership skills into practice in scenarios outside of their regular day jobs.
